The hotel is within a ten to fifteen-minute walk to key monuments and places of interest (Museo de Oro, Museo Botero, Plaza Bolívar, La Candelaria). Our room (and bathroom) was very spacious and in excellent condition, apparently recently refurbished, and with lots of original artwork on the walls. There was also a little kitchen area where you could cook if you wanted to, all for a very reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful - they looked after our bags for a few hours after we checked out and booked a secure taxi for our trips from and to the airport, both of which went without a hitch. Breakfast was served in a nice café attached to the hotel and offered decent options.

We did 3 bookings for 9 rooms at Hotel Museo San Moritz for a total of 17 people and we were very pleased with the accommodation. The rooms were renovated, spacious, clean and bright. Breakfast at the café downstairs was impressive with tamales, fruit or sandwich and a delicious coffee. The hotel staff was very attentive and their willingness to help was always there even though most of our crew did not speak Spanish. They also helped with arranging transportation for airport pick up and drop off, and also throughout the city. Centrally located and easy to find shops, restaurants, theatres and museums nearby. Totally recommend it.

Location = 10/10 - walking distance from La Candelaria, Monseratte funicular, Plaza Bolivar, university area, Gold Museum, Museum of Modern Art, Veracruz, and so many more. Food = 10/10 - get fresh breakfast every morning. Made to order juice, fruits, and tamales… and eggs custom made just for you. Hospitality = 10/10 - Daniel, Jonathan and Joel are excellent hosts with a lot of knowledge. The hotel is filled with local art everywhere.

Surprisingly we had really comfortable room, big bed, light nice room, cute pictures. Location is perfect. Nothing to complain. Except some troubles in the bathroom with hot water, but not critical. We managed it somehow. Advice: 1) bring warm clothes/socks, pretty cold inside (and slippers for bathroom) 2) (maybe) bring your hairdryer 3) stuff is polite and nice, but don’t speak English

Iana

Incredible staff, at front desk Manuel was fabulous, in the kitchen the staff was kind and prompt, the room cleaners were detailed and very professional, the owner was very polite and offered great advice for getting around! Thank you, i will return soon! Marco
